Aquamotion: Our most intense aquatic program
using moderate to loud music as a motivator. 45-50 minutes
long with an average of 25-35 aerobic minutes allowing high
to low impact and/or intensity. You will also be using resistance
and balance equipment. THIS IS AN ADVANCED PROGRAM
AND NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS. Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program: A
national program developed by the Arthritis Foundation introducing
those with arthritis to the benefits and comfort of warm,
shallow water exercise to reduce pain.
Lap Swimming: An opportunity to build endurance.
(No toys in the main body of water: i.e., boards, noodles,
etc.) two-thirds of pool is available for laps. The "lane"
between the stairs and ladder is for individual programs.
STRICTLY ENFORCED. Open Hours (OH): A time for everyone’s individual
programs. NOTE: the center of the pool will be designated
for those wishing to do lap swimming. In the interest of safety,
please cooperate with any requests by your lifeguard on duty.
Water Workout: Take a little balance walk,
flexibility, range of motion, strength training and water
walking and mix it together with a little bit of music for
your morning
fitness buffet. Intensity level is between arthritis program
and Aqua Motion. See Life: An overall conditioning
class for those with low or no vision, sponsored by the
Braille
Institute of SB. Volleyball: Join the gang in a no rules,
no points, raucous, and laughter filled class. It’s not like
anything else! Water Fall Proof: A comprehensive balance
and mobility training program designed to use the supporting
nature of water. Class size limited. Water Walking: A very-low-impact, total
body workout for coordination, agility, strength and flexibility. |
